Amea Power Overview

UAE renewable energy company Amea Power develops, owns and operates thermal and renewable power projects in mainly emerging markets in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Amea particularly invests in wind, solar energy storage and green hydrogen. Current projects include those in Burkina Faso, Jordan, Morocco, Togo and Egypt, where it has initiated the largest solar PV project in Africa.

Recent completed projects include the 50MW Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Solar Plant in Togo and the 51.75 MW Abour Power Wind Farm in Tafilah, Jordan.

Amea Power is a subsidiary company of Abu Dhabi-based Al Nowais Investments, which controls and manages a diversified portfolio of companies in sectors ranging from oil and chemicals to hospitality and infrastructure.
