Dubai-headquartered Majid Al Futtaim and IWG, a Swiss-based flexible workspace provider, will open five Regus and Spaces locations in the UAE, Oman and Egypt.

The sites will open in the Mall of Egypt, City Centre Qurum, City Centre Sohar, City Centre Me’aisem and City Centre Deira.

The new workspaces will add almost 7,000 sq m of space across the Middle East and Africa network.

Scheduled to open in January 2024, Regus Qurum in Muscat will provide 805 sq m of work space.

The new Regus Sohar at City Centre Sohar, spanning 704 sq m, will be the first flexible workspace to provide hybrid working solutions in Sohar.

Scheduled to open in July 2024, Spaces Mall of Egypt will span 2,220 sq m, providing facilities including private offices, meeting rooms, co-working and creative spaces, as IWG’s 10th location in Egypt.

Two new hybrid workspaces will be launched in Dubai. Regus Me’aisem, a 1,877 sq m new centre, will open in August next year. Regus Deira, a 1,180-sqm workspace, will also become operational in the same month.

The demand for hybrid working has led to IWG adding 612 new locations globally in the first nine months of 2023.

IWG’s Middle East and Africa network now operate 13 locations across the region.
