Farizon Auto, which is based in Zhejiang, manufactures zero-emission vehicles, including trucks, light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and buses. The deal between Jameel Motors, owned by Saudi Arabia’s Abdul Latif Jameel Group, and Farizon Auto to sell vehicles in the UK is part of a wider distribution partnership which spans 11 countries with a combined population of more than 450 million. There has been a recent increase in demand for battery electric vans within the UK’s wider LCV market.
