Dubai scores football-themed homes in Chelsea Residences

Chelsea fans finally have something to celebrate: Dubai’s first football-themed development will wear the blue of the famous west London club.

As part of a new partnership between Chelsea FC and Damac Properties, the Dubai-based property developer will build a Chelsea-themed real estate project in the emirate.

Chelsea Residences “will be built with Chelsea Football Club’s famous brand woven into the fabric, from its concierge service to its high-performance spaces,” Damac and Chelsea FC said in a press release.

Officially, Damac has joined as Chelsea FC’s property development partner.

To be located at Dubai’s Maritime City, Chelsea Residences will consist of 1,400 residential units.

The partnership between Chelsea and Damac will also mean Chelsea players wear Damac’s logo for the remaining matches of the 2024-25 season, which ends on May 25.

That Chelsea FC has had no front-of-shirt sponsor for the entirety of this year’s football season makes it easier for the club to give Damac the space for the last few games.

Chelsea is the ninth highest-earning football team in the world, according to Forbes. The club is valued at $3.13 billion.

Other football and real estate partnerships in the UAE

Real Madrid World, Dubai: Real Madrid-themed amusement park with shops, restaurants, and bars.

Manchester City FC and Aldar Properties, Abu Dhabi: Aldar is the club’s official real estate partner, using the brand to promote sales and carry out joint projects.

Arsenal FC and Sobha Realty, Dubai: Sobha Realty is the club’s official global real estate partner and the Sobha brand features prominently during matches.

Bournemouth FC and Leos International, Dubai: Property developer Leos International, which operates heavily in the UAE and has a Dubai office, is an official partner to Bournemouth FC.
