The investigation comes after Moroccan companies complained that Egyptian and UAE steel wire is being dumped at below market rates in the Moroccan market, Morocco World News reported. The industry and trade ministry examined imports of galvanised steel wire between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024. The dumping margin remained high, exceeding a legal threshold, the report said.
