Logistics Aramco and DHL plan logistics hub in Saudi Arabia By Pramod Kumar March 21, 2023, 5:54 AM Aramco Aramco and DHL Supply Chain executives at the signing ceremony of the proposed procurement and logistics hub in Saudi Arabia Saudi Aramco and logistics giant DHL Supply Chain have signed an agreement to develop a new procurement and logistics hub in Saudi Arabia to improve supply chain efficiency and sustainability. The hub will provide end-to-end integrated procurement and supply chain services to customers in the industrial, energy, chemical and petrochemical sectors, Aramco said in a statement. The hub, which is likely to start operations in 2025, will initially focus on Saudi Arabia, before expanding to the rest of the Middle East and North Africa. Aramco’s president & CEO Amin H. Nasser said: “By combining the exceptional energy, chemicals and industrial supply chain ecosystem of Aramco with the shipping and logistics expertise of DHL, we aim to enable the procurement and logistics hub joint venture to serve as a one-stop hub for customers’ supply chain needs.”
