The recruiting process is nearing completion, with the launch expected in the second half of 2025 or early 2026, Al Qabas, an Arabic daily, reported, citing unnamed sources. The report said that the Chinese company may consider acquiring a local delivery or logistics company to operate in Kuwait. The move is part of Keeta’s expansion strategy in the Gulf region. In October 2024 Keeta announced its expansion into Riyadh with plans to invest SAR1 billion ($267 million) in Saudi Arabia’s burgeoning food delivery market. The GCC’s online grocery market was valued at $7.4 billion in 2024, according to a report by India-based Imarc Group. The market is projected to reach $53.6 billion by 2033, growing at a compound annual growth rate of 23 percent from 2025 to 2033.
