Its GDP growth rate has also fluctuated but is predicted to steadily increase from 2025 onwards. Egypt inflation Egypt debt & current account balance Government gross debt as a percentage of Egypt’s GDP is extremely high. It reached a peak of 95.9 percent in 2023 but has been decreasing since then. Egypt governance Egypt’s Corruption Perceptions Index score of 30 is well below the global average of 43 and the Mena average of 39. The higher the score, the lower the corruption in a country. Egypt population Egypt life expectancy Egypt’s population has significantly grown over the past decade, but the rate of this growth is generally slowing. Life expectancy in Egypt fell in 2020, reaching its lowest point in 2021 before rising again. Egypt employment Egypt’s unemployment rate has been gradually falling over the past decade and is now at its lowest level in more than 10 years.
