Four weekly flights will be operated on narrow-body Boeing 737-800 to the UAE’s capital, a company spokesperson said at Dubai Airshow this week. In 2022, Aeroflot carried 20.5 million passengers. The new terminal, which became operational on November 1, will more than double the number of passengers with the facilities able to process up to 45 million travellers annually. The new official name, Zayed International Airport, will take effect from February 9, 2024, as part of the official opening ceremony of terminal A.
