Under the 10-year deal, the state-owned company will supply 800,000 metric tonnes per annum (mtpa) starting this April, the state-run Oman News Agency reported. Hamed Mohammed Al Nu’amani, CEO of Oman LNG, said the agreement expands its portfolio of partners and market access, supporting global energy security and sustainability. Oman LNG signed an agreement with Turkey’s Botas Petroleum Pipeline Corporation to supply 1 million mtpa of LNG for 10 years last May. The company had agreed in November 2023 to deliver 1 million metric tonnes a year of LNG to the British oil and gas company BP.
