The Mays Alive car is said to have a range of 610 kilometres on a single charge, which is longer than most EVs, and retails at OMR11,000 ($28,500) for companies and OMR12,000 ($31,000) for individuals. The car features AI technology that allows the driver to converse with a personal assistant and can also come with advertising that allows the owner to earn money. “It is an optional feature but will work as an additional source of income for the driver,” Haider Adnan Al Zaabi, founder of Mays Motors, said in a video when the launch was announced. The technology under the bonnet is a combination of Chinese and German, with the batteries from China Aviation Lithium Battery and the motor from Bosch.
