The expansion includes the opening of its lifestyle brand, Tapestry Collection, on the African continent, as well as Egypt’s first Curio Collection and a resort under the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand. Hilton Cairo Nile Maadi, located in the capital’s upscale Maadi district, is scheduled to open in early 2025. Egypt is Hilton’s longest-standing market in the Middle East and Africa region, with more than 60 years of operations, Carlos Khneisser, vice president, development, Middle East & Africa said. Several existing properties in Egypt are undergoing refurbishments, including the Ramses Hilton, Hilton Pyramids Golf and Hilton Cairo Heliopolis.
