The move intends to provide high-quality services to customers and generate sustainable financial returns, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said in a statement. The Darb and Mawaqif – the toll and parking systems, respectively – will benefit from being added to ADQ’s transport and logistics portfolio. Darb, operational since 2021, manages eight toll gates in the UAE capital, which aims to alleviates congestion and promote the use of public transportation. The system was set up to build smart mobility infrastructure.
