The Trump Organization intends to build Trump Towers in Riyadh and Abu Dhabi, marking its expansion across the Gulf region.

The projects will be developed in partnership with Dar Global, the global development arm of Saudi-listed Dar Al Arkan, Eric Trump, the US president-elect’s son, told Reuters.

The Abu Dhabi project is scheduled for launch next year, he said.

Ziad El Chaar, CEO of London-listed Dar Global, said Riyadh projects include a Trump Golf community similar to one launched in Oman in 2022.

While the value of the new projects was not disclosed, El Chaar compared them to the $530 million Trump Tower in Jeddah and the $2.7 billion Trump Golf community in Oman.

El Chaar announced earlier this week it had signed an agreement with The Trump Organization to build two “landmark projects” in Riyadh but did not give any further details.

Dar Global partnered with The Trump Organization in 2022 to use the president-elect’s name for its $4 billion master development in Muscat.

The Aida project, a joint venture with Oman Tourism Development Company, will include Trump-branded villas, a resort and a golf course.

The Trump Organization previously announced plans in 2005 to build a Trump Tower on the Palm in Dubai with developer Nakheel, but this was cancelled in 2011 following the global credit crunch.
