SalamAir Overview

SalamAir is Oman’s low-cost airline, founded in 2017 by the Muscat National Development and Investment Company (ASAAS), a partnership between the Oman Investment Authority, Muscat Municipality and various pension funds.

Based at Muscat International Airport, SalamAir operates a fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft, serving around 45 destinations across almost 20 countries.

This includes domestic routes within Oman and international flights to cities in Egypt, Turkey, Iran, Thailand, India and Germany. New destinations for 2025 include Nairobi in Kenya.

In 2022 and 2023, SalamAir was recognised as Oman’s “Most Trusted Brand”.
