Edge Group Overview

Edge Group is an advanced technology and defence conglomerate, established in 2019 by Emirati business executive Faisal Al Bannai.

The group consists of 25 companies focused on both military and civilian products, including precision-guided munitions. It ranks among the top three global manufacturers of these munitions.

Edge group has rapidly expanded internationally, with products exported to over 30 countries and international sales exceeding $5 billion in 2022, reflecting a 500 percent growth.

The group’s recent acquisitions include Estonian Milrem Robotics, Swiss VTOL firm Anavia, as well as stakes in Brazilian tear gas manufacturer Condor and Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri.

Edge Group’s technological contributions include the launch of Fada, a space firm and the development of autonomous systems like VTOL drones and loitering munitions. It also leads in radar, air defence and electronic warfare technologies.

The company has secured landmark contracts, including a $27 million ammunition deal with Indonesia in 2024. It has also formed strategic partnerships with Brazil, India, Turkey and Indonesia, focusing on defence and technological innovation.
