Company Insights Al Tayer Group Retail Al Tayer Group Overview Al Tayer Group is a privately held holding group with interests in sectors including luxury retail, perfume and cosmetics, automobile sales, real estate and engineering. It operates in six countries in the Middle East from its headquarters in Dubai. Launched as a travel agency and Al Tayer Industries, it diversified into perfume distribution in 1982 and into vehicles in 1982. In the early 1990s the group branched out into interior fit-outs and then into retail in 1992. The retail division of Al Tayer Group now has more than 200 stores in the Middle East and acts as host to numerous designer brands including Bulgari, Prada and Yves Saint Laurent. In Kuwait and the UAE it operates 22 Armani stores. Al Tayer’s Insignia opened Bloomingdale’s in Dubai in 2010. Al Tayer’s automotive division represents Ferrari, Maserati, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lincoln, Ford, VinFast, Deepal, Ford Trucks and Foton across the UAE. In 2015 the group entered into a joint venture with the UK’s King’s College Hospital, creating King’s College Hospital Dubai, and in 2018 it began to build and operate cinemas across the GCC in collaboration with Cinépolis.
