Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is not expected to attend Queen Elizabeth’s funeral on Monday, Reuters reported, citing a source at the British foreign office. The Gulf state will be represented by Prince Turki bin Mohammed al Saud, the source added. Prince Turki is a minister of state and a member of the cabinet since 2018. Royals and leaders from the Middle East and North Africa, such as Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Morocco’s Crown Prince Moulay Hassan, Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al-Said and Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani are expected to attend the funeral, according to a Reuters report. Brunei Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, Morocco Crown Prince Moulay Hassan, Egypt Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Israel President Isaac Herzog, and Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh will also be present.
