Bahrain’s new beachfront mall to open in Q4 2023

Marassi Galleria, a shopping and entertainment destination in Marassi Al Bahrain, is slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Located in Diyar Al Muharraq, the three-story beachfront luxury shopping mall occupies a gross leasable area of 114,000 sq m, including over 450 stores.

The mall is connected to two 5-star hotels: the Vida Beach Resort and the Address Beach Resort, as well as luxury serviced apartments.

The mall will house Marassi Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, operated by Emaar Entertainment, which will be the largest aquarium in Bahrain and home to over 200 species of fish.

Maher Al Shaer, managing director of Eagle Hills Diyar, said: “Marassi Galleria is Bahrain’s new downtown and we are confident that it will become a must-visit attraction and a destination of choice for both residents and tourists.” 

Marassi Al Bahrain is developed by a joint venture between Abu Dhabi-headquartered Eagle Hills and Diyar Al Muharraq, the developer of Diyar Al Muharraq. 

An 875,000 sq m development, the Marassi Al Bahrain masterplan includes 6,600 residential apartments, 245,000 sq m of retail space, Marassi Galleria, hotels and serviced apartments.
