The project will introduce a traffic management platform in 20 cities and towns across Albania with the aim of reducing congestion and improving emergency response times, Presight said in a statement. “Albania is embarking on one of Europe’s most ambitious smart nation transformations, leveraging AI to drive economic growth, efficiency, and community well-being,” Presight CEO Thomas Pramotedham said in the statement. Presight has previously agreed a $190 million, six-year deal with Kazakhstan to deploy a similar AI-powered smart city project that aims to improve traffic management in the Kazakh capital, Astana.
